What is Your City Doing? City of Wanneroo
Local Government has an important role to play in the fight against climate change. The impact that local government can have is two-fold:
1) By reducing the amount of greenhouse gases it produces through its operations and activities; and
2) Educating and supporting residents and businesses in the community to reduce their contribution to climate change.
The City of Wanneroo recognises the importance of combating climate change and has taken many significant steps over the past nine years to not only reduce its contribution but to become a leader to its community.
